Qingdao SY Experimental Theater opened last year with government support to help promote and give Qingdao residents an opportunity to participate in local drama and musical performances.
Recent performances have included:  Runaway Bride, Complicity with Cupid, Dogs Life, and Under The Banyan Tree.

The teams of the Clipper 09-10 race are set to arrive in Qingdao between February 19th-22nd, 2010.
There will be activities for Qingdao(nese) to participate in during the teams’ short layover before the start of race 7 to San Francisco on March 2nd.
An “Open House” in which the Clipper Racing yachts and crew will be available is scheduled for February 28th & 29th at the Qingdao International Marina.
